Life Snapshot Exercise
I invite you—if you’re willing—to take a quiet moment and look at your life as it is today.
Draw your life - what to draw
- Not your past. Not your future. Just your life right now.
- On an index card or blank sheet of paper, use stick figures, simple shapes, or symbols to represent your current life.
- Use pencil or even crayons—draw like a kid. (Kids are free and open.)
- Consider things like: family, pets, work, hobbies, faith, health, or whatever is going on with you today.
Important notes
- This isn’t about artistic skill—it’s about expression.
- Simple drawings often say the most.
- You can even ask AI (like ChatGPT) to make a drawing—just be sure to tell it your details. If the first try doesn’t feel like you, ask for a redo.
- The goal is a snapshot of your life today.
Have your drawing ready for your next CoachingStep, please.
